Day 16  - 31/7/03  - Thursday

Breakfast, strike camp and wait for Alex and our transport back to Moshi, it arrives about an hour late by the time we've got the price closer to sensible and a dogdy tire replaced  we're running 2 hours behind schedule but it doesn't matter, we just have lunch at 2 pm in Moshi. I have a shower, and emerge to a heated conversation in the group because Modestus Anthony has presented Will with bills for $260 which after a little examination is quite blatantly all rubbish. Evening meal at the De Costa (where we're staying, its a 1* I would say that because I'm in a double bed with Badga in what seems like the ex broom cupboard) Still its nice to be back in a bed. A letter of apology and $50 is prepared for Modestus.
